(STV-1008)
After I installed STV-1008, how come there was only video
and not any audio?
You need to connect the audio
cable from "Line out" of STV-1008 to "Line in" of your sound
card in order to have audio.
-
In order to have audio output
from the PC, you must connect the audio output from video
output devices, such as VCR, camcorder, TV, etc. into sound
card of your PC.
-
Open Video Mail from LiveSuite,
and choose "Show/hide video options panel" (hammer
on the top right corner). When the hammer icon is blue,
choose "Video source settings" icon (please refer
to the image below)
Once you are in "Video
source settings", please go to the "Capture Source"
setting and make sure that your "S610A! Video Capture"
is selected under "Select a Video Device:". Also,
please select either "Video Composite" or "S-Video"
under "Select a Video Source:", depending on where
you are importing videos from. (see below). For example,
if you are importing video from your digital video camera
through your S-VHS cable, then you must select the "S-Video"
as the video source. Similarly, if you are sending video
through your composite video cable, then you must select
the "Composite Video" as the video source.
When you are still in "Video
source settings", please go to the "Advanced"
setting. Since our S-610A is usable for both NTSC and PAL
systems, therefore, you must select the system depending on
where you are. For example, if you are in Canada, you must
choose "NTSC" under "Video Standard",
likewise, if you are in Europe, you must choose "PAL"
under "Video Staandard".
